The wonderfully chaotic and creative workspace of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent had many stylish visitors over the years—from his iconic muses to his succession of French Bulldogs. Now, these intimate moments are the subject of a new book, “Yves Saint Laurent’s Studio: Mirror and Secret” by fashion historian Jérômine Savignon. Utilizing 40 never-before-seen photographs, as well as fabric swatches and sketches by the designer, Savignon tells a new—and deeply inspiring—story about the iconic Saint Laurent’s life and work. See a preview here.

“Yves Saint Laurent’s Studio: Mirror and Secret” by Jérômine Savignon is available March 1st, $25, artbook.com
