At Budapest’s Sziget Festival, Street Style Makes It Clear We’re Not At Coachella Anymore
Spread over eight days on an island in Budapest, Hungary, the annual Sziget Festival (Sziget means “island”) is among the biggest in all of Europe; last year, it nabbed Rihanna as a headliner, while this year, Wiz Khalifa, Vince Staples, PJ Harvey, Major Lazer (whose music last year’s headliner said “sounds like a reggae song at an airport“), and a wildly varied host of other musicians will all take the stage. Attendees’ endurances might be tested by the sheer volume of it all, but they can nevertheless be counted on to turn out in style (and that includes Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who were spotted in the stands on Monday)—and in looks that bear little resemblance to the quotidian Coachella style of flower crowns and denim cutoffs.
