Meet Steven Meisel’s Latest Shape Shifter
The Spring 2017 collections were all about silhouette, from the oversize shapes and Canada Goose puffers at Demna Gvasalia’s Vetements to the volume of Rick Owens‘ capes. Between Steven Meisel and W‘s Edward Enninful, they transformed the up-and-coming model Zhengyang Zhang, who swept through the men’s shows, popping at Balmain, Versace, and John Varvatos just last week in New York, into an unrecognizable, and stunning, string of configurations showing that there are no false moves to make with these pieces.
