See the Best Street Style From Shanghai Fashion Week Spring 2018

Judging by the looks that appeared on the streets of Shanghai during the Spring 2018 shows, an autumn chill has set in. No look was complete without a windbreaker or boxy overcoat, and many street style stars wielded telling umbrellas shielding them from the damp and drizzle. But underneath their outer layers, Shanghai’s best dressed sported an array of of-the-moment trends. There were monochrome looks like head-to-toe green, ivory, and red. (Does it count as monochrome if the look is all black, or is that just the city uniform around the world?) Kitten heels dodged puddled accumulating on the pavement. There was an abundance of lingerie, including corsets worn over and under tops and sheer, petticoat-like skirts. One bold fashion week attendee even took the loungewear trend to unprecedented lengths: Clutched between his arms, he held a white silk pillow, which matched his slouchy, khaki-and-white suit.
