Inside Rag & Bone’s Very Meta Fall 2017 Presentation Starring Thom Yorke, Amber Valletta, Tali Lennox, and More
Over two nights in early February, photographers Glen Luchford and Frank Lebon, Rag & Bone designer Marcus Wainwright, and a few of his closest friends — including Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, supermodels Amber Valletta, Freja Beha Erichsen, and Sasha Pivovarova, and actors Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys — gathered at a downtown studio to shoot a series of 60 portraits on a vintage large-format Polaroid camera. Each personality, whether artist, musician, actor, or fashion pro, styled their own look, selected from Rag & Bone’s Fall 2017 collection. Then, on Thursday night, they gathered together again in a gallery space on Manhattan’s west side, modeling those same looks at an exhibition-slash-party that was the official kickoff of New York Fashion Week.
