Prada’s All-Star Cast Brings Your ’70s Dreams to Life—All in Mohair
From established supers like Anna Ewers and Freja Beha Erichsen to models on the rise like Lex Herl and everyone in between—Julia Nobis, Lineisy Montero, and Natalie Westling—Miuccia Prada outfitted her all-star cast in a whole wardrobe of mohair in bright reds, pinks, and turquoises. Just as her recent menswear show channeled a distinctly ’70s aesthetic, so too Prada seems to be feeling the retro vibes for women, evident in the exaggerated lapels of each jacket, the knee-length skirts, and the sweater sets that appeared on the runway. The collection practically leaps out of every image with its tactile, three-dimensional look. In addition to all that mohair, there was plenty of curly fur, beaded embellishment, and ostrich feathers capping off many of the looks.
