Autumn Leaves

Though recent balmy temps may suggest otherwise, fall is in full swing, at least on New York City’s charity circuit. Hot on the heels of opening night galas at the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Ballet, New Yorkers for Children hosted its 15th annual gala Tuesday night at Cipriani 42nd Street. Sponsored by Chloé and David Yurman, the event, which benefits youth in foster care, drew out ball gown denizens, models, and even the football player Victor Cruz. Greg Kelly of Good Day New York hosted, North Shore-LIJ Health System President and CEO Michael J. Dowling was honored for his philanthropic efforts, and Estelle gave a rousing performance.
