Get An Early Peek Inside the New SFMoMA Via Instagram

Since 2013, San Francisco‘s Museum of Modern Art has been quietly doubling their gallery spaces, tapping the Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta to add a new oculus, balconies, and even a grand staircase to the original Mario Botta-designed structure. The result, which will be unveiled to the public on May 14, is spacious enough for 214-ton’s worth of art by Richard Serra, plus plenty of Alexander Calder mobiles – not to mention some seriously hangout-worthy bathrooms.
