The Most Interesting Looks From MTV’s 2020 VMAs
MTV didn’t go so far as rolling out a CGI red carpet last night for the Video Music Awards. Even while they tried to elevate the show beyond a humble Zoom meeting, there was no hiding that this year’s ceremony wasn’t held under normal circumstances. Only a small handful of presenters, performers and nominees actually appeared during the broadcast, but they all tried to dress the part. Multiple winner Lady Gaga, of course, wore multiple looks, including a standout green gown from American designer Christopher John Rogers. Bella Hadid stunned in a sheer number from up-and-coming designer Nensi Dojaka. BTS coordinated in head-to-toe Gucci. Though, some winners, like Megan Thee Stallion and Taylor Swift, accepted their awards remotely, and had “work from home” fits to match. Here, some of the more interesting fashion moments from the night.
