Welcome to Karl Lagerfeld’s house of mirrors. For Chanel’s haute couture Spring 2017 collection, the designer covered Paris’ Grand Palais with reflective surfaces and calla lilies, an expanded version of Coco Chanel’s similarly decorated studio—and an Instagrammer’s dream, of course. Lagerfeld showed a feminine collection heavy on skirt suits with articulated waistlines (few looks were sent down the runway without a belt), as well as frothy evening looks embellished heavily with feathers and sequins. For the grand finale, Lagerfeld bestowed 17-year-old Lily-Rose Depp with the honor of being his couture child bride. Here’s to the happy couple.
