Eric Yahnker, the satirist responsible for putting Abraham Lincoln in cornrows and Gollum in a Trump hat, is not a subtle artist. “Steve Jobs’ Day Off,” his new exhibit and latest case for the serious potential of colored pencils, opened at The Hole on Thursday night and features polarizing work worthy of eliciting a smile, or at least an uncomfortable squirm. Jobs might not be present, but with Pablo Picasso drinking a namesake frappuccino and LeBron James facing off again Michael Jackson on a basketball court, he is hardly missed.
