The 8 Coolest It Girls to Follow From Copenhagen Fashion Week
Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring 2018 hasn’t just given us insight into peak Scandinavian style—which, by the way, seems to be an even mix of dedicated, head-to-toe black minimalism, and bold statement pieces like wooden purses and fur-lined track pants. It’s also helped up get to know the girls running in the scene in Denmark’s capital—especially since Danish model Nina Agdal has vacated the city in favor of New York (and, post-Leo, another supermodel’s son). There are, of course, the veteran cool-girl models Caroline Brasch Nielsen and Amanda Norgaard, but even as both have found worldwide success, they’ve also maintained ties to newer names in the city like the jewelry designer Sophie Bille Brahe, whose creations are a favorite of names like Zoë Kravitz and Rihanna. And while little known in the States, the cult brand Ganni has long been a favorite of Norgaard’s—as has its quirkily dressed creative director, Ditte Reffstrup. Get ready to increase your following count by getting to know those names and more, like Balenciaga campaign model Emma Leth, here.

Caroline Brasch Nielsen, aka @caroline_brasch, is one of those rare models who just as—if not more—popular than when she first started in the industry, all the way back in 2010. Once the face of brands like Valentino and Marc Jacobs, she’s still making the show circuit every season—and, like any good two-time Victoria’s Secret alum would, her rounds around the streets in just a bathing suit. (Oh, and she also happens to be dating jewelry designer Sophie Bille Brahe’s brother.)

Since Sophie Bille Brahe, aka @sophiebillebraheltd, first started taking metal classes a decade ago, she’s become so adept at jewelry design that she now counts none other than Rihanna, Zoë Kravitz, Agyness Deyn, and Emma Watson among her fans.

Klara Kristin, aka @karate_katia, can be found between Copenhagen and New York, as well as in onscreen in Gaspar Noé’s 2015 film Love. In addition to acting, Kristin also just signed with Lions Model Management—and keeps busy in a DJ duo with Lindsey Wixson.
4
Actor Emma Leth, aka @emma_leth, has since turned to modeling—and not only walked for Balenciaga, but as a favorite of Demna Gvasalia and Lotta Volkova’s, even starred in the brand’s new campaign.
5
When Amanda Norgaard, aka @amandanorgaard_, isn’t smoking a cigarette or exposing her midriff, the long-time model, who’s signed to IMG—and, yes, was the inspiration behind the Vaccine’s 2011 song “Norgaard“—can be found cavorting around the world and, lately, advocating for Chechen human rights.
6
Funda Christophersen, aka @fundachristophersen, is an interior consultant as well as someone fashionable enough to earn that title of “influencer,” especially after becoming a street style star from her blogging days.
7
Barbara Potts, aka @barbarapotts, was only 19 when she cofounded one of Europe’s most popular fur brands, Saks Potts. Now still in her early twenties, she can also usually be found riding her bike, hanging with Sophie Bille Brahe, or rocking Moon Boots.

Ditte Reffstrup, aka @ditte_reffstrup, runs the label Ganni, which is currently the talk of town. Carried in 400 stores around the world, the brand is still somehow family-owned—which definitely seems to make Reffstrup’s work life all the more fun.
