While New York is overrun with the fashion community, and Los Angeles turns its attention to music for the Grammy Awards, Hollywood’s biggest stars fled to London for the 70th British Academy Film Awards, known more commonly as the BAFTA Awards. As one of the final major outings before the Academy Awards, the ceremony allows nominated actresses to get in one last dazzling dress, and this year’s nominees, including Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman, and Michelle Williams, did just that. The event also brought out some of the U.K.’s most famous faces: Prince William and Kate Middleton, and J.K. Rowling. Apparently, everybody just wants a good Ryan Gosling spotting.
