AfroPunk 2016: See Stunning Tintype Portraits of Janelle Monae, CeeLo Green, Earl Sweatshirt and More
Over the weekend, photographer Driely S. setup an old-school tintype photo booth at the 2016 AfroPunk music festival at Commodore Barry Park and captured stunning portraits of headliners like Janelle Monae, CeeLo Green, Earl Sweatshirt, TV on the Radio and various of the more exciting street style stars. It was all a tribute to the late Malian photographer Malick Sidibé, who died in April, and was known for his black-and-white photographs set in front of a striped backdrop that captured the beauty of daily life in Bamako, Mali.
