Creative Director Sabato De Sarno’s much-anticipated Gucci debut will have you looking up one word: Ancora. Translating roughly to “again” or “still,” the word permeates Gucci’s heritage-laced Spring Summer 2024 collection.

Rosso Ancora, a rich oxblood, is part of the brand’s DNA and is a reference to The Savoy hotel’s iconic red elevator, where Guccio Gucci once worked as a porter. The sumptuous hue is a throughline in the Spring Summer 2024 collection, taking shape in pumps, embossed leather skirts, handbags, and more.
