The Best Looks From Men’s Fashion Week Fall 2023
From frog accessories at JW Anderson to Anthony Vaccarello’s fluid tailoring at Saint Laurent, there’s something for everyone this season.
Men’s Fashion Week for the fall 2023 season has been marked by monumental moments. On Friday, January 13, Gucci unveiled its first collection since Alessandro Michele announced his departure from the brand which he transformed into a maximalist, gender-neutral global phenomenon since his appointment as creative director in 2015. No word yet on who will be his successor, but industry insiders are anxiously awaiting an announcement; in the meantime, collections are being crafted by an in-house team of designers. The day prior, London designer Martine Rose made her debut in Florence. Presenting as Pitti Uomo’s guest designer, (a position that was previously occupied by another British contemporary and this year’s Paris Fashion Week opener, Grace Wales Bonner) Rose put a righteous spin on the typical menswear silhouette. In Paris, Louis Vuitton—another maison that has yet to name a successor since Virgil Abloh’s in November 2021—unveiled its colorful collaboration with Colm Dillane, the artist and designer better known as KidSuper. On February 10, nearly a month after the formal season began, Hedi Slimane presented his latest collection of rock ‘n’ roll silhouettes in an off-calendar show at Paris’s famed Le Palace theater. Keep up with our favorite looks from the season, here.
