Why should the most luxurious apparel be reserved for life outside? Clothing is often treated as armor used to face the day — a way to communicate our tastes and moods to the world. Loro Piana’s new Cocooning collection asks: What if our clothes were first and foremost for ourselves?

In fashioning the Cocooning collection, Loro Piana has crafted all the necessary pieces to make a complete, cozy, at-home wardrobe. The line includes not just hoodies and joggers, but accessories like slippers, socks, and home boots. In a neutral-toned palette of cream, blush, and camel, the pieces easily mix and match with each other – or seamlessly add a touch of soft, enveloping texture to your existing curation.

Part of Cocooning is the act of enveloping oneself. As such, layering is a key component of the collection, with pieces like bralettes, leggings, and sweaters designed to be layered upon one another — or peeled off to reveal what's underneath. How you approach it is entirely up to you.

With an emphasis on textiles like Loro Piana’s classic cashmere, cashmere jersey, and silk, the way each piece feels is just as important as how it looks. This is a collection to be consumed by the senses, and worn in the quiet moments between private and public life.
