Although it still very much feels like summer, the world of fashion has colder months on the mind. One after another, brands will soon begin to unveil their fall/winter campaigns, most of which will feature familiar faces from the worlds of music, modeling, and acting dressed in the season’s hottest styles. Prada has already kicked off the season with an actor-heavy photo set featuring Kodi Smit-McPhee, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Hunter Schafer among others in floral shots from Willy Vanderperre. But that’s just the beginning, and now that the campaigns have started rolling out, they won’t stop anytime soon. Check back here often as we track the latest surprise stars and eye-catching images of the fall/winter 2023 season.

Jonathan Anderson pulled out his rolodex of star-studded Loewe supporters for the Spanish brand’s spring/summer 2024 pre-collection campaign, enlisting Maggie Smith, Dakota Fanning, Greta Lee, and Mike Faist, among others, to show off the newest offerings. The images, shot by Juergen Teller, quickly went viral following their release—partly in celebration of Smith’s turn as a campaign model, but also thanks to the gritty nature and inescapable gazes in every photograph.

Lee lounges on a couch, her arm hooked around the brand’s Squeeze bag, judging you. In another image she stands, wrapped in a corduroy and fur coat, judging you. Smith, meanwhile, grasps her Puzzle Fold tote against a brick wall, a little smirk on her face. A collage-like quality to the photos keeps the eye engaged as it takes in the models’ surroundings, the rich hues of the clothes and accessories, and of course, the star power.

Loewe

“Reproportioned classics” from the collection clothe the models—but classics take on a whole new meaning when we’re talking about Anderson’s Loewe. Yes, we see Faist in a fairly traditional suede jacket and jeans, and Smith in a satin dress, but out of nowhere, Fanning’s heels erupt in a colorful yarn-like fabric and a leather bag handle acts as a collar on Lee’s shirt. The Loewe collection plays off of the unexpected, as does Teller’s photography. He ripped the original images and superimposed them onto white backgrounds, only to photograph them again, complementing the twisted surrealism at play in the products.

Gucci is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its enduringly popular Horsebit 1953 loafer with a new campaign, starring brand ambassadors Paul Mescal and Xiao Zhan. Despite the star power, its the loafers that remain the center of attention in the images, on full display as Mescal and Zhan lounge in leather chairs and upon rugged floors.

Introduced in 1953 by the late Aldo Gucci, the loafers allowed for a more casual, yet still sophisticated choice in footwear, with the horsebit detail harkening back to the house’s faux-equestrian roots. The style quickly caught on among both men and women and became a status symbol, one that has lived on over the past seven decades. While many Gucci creative directors have introduced their own take on the loafer during their time at the helm of the brand, it’s the original design that has proven to be the most persist, and the one on display in this new campaign.

Frame

Photograph by David Sims; Courtesy of Frame

Frame is celebrating the start of their second decade with the ushering in of a new creative era, and they’ve tapped Gisele Bündchen to lead the way. The model is the face of Frame’s latest campaign for its winter collection, starring in a set of black and white photos shot by David Sims. It was important for Erik Torstensson, the co-founder and creative director of Frame, to cast a friend for this collaboration, in order to create an authentic community around the clothing brand.

Bündchen stuns in the simple, yet impactful images, some of which depict the model topless in a pair of dramatically flared jeans. The campaign portrays an aspirational, yet still attainable wardrobe, showing three identities to Bündchen and the Frame woman. There’s the high fashion Los Angeles-based side, the second which speaks to the laid-back lifestyle of California, and the last, which focuses on the jeans, placing Frame denim front and center.

“...For me there can be no greater living icon in our campaign than Gisele,” Torstensson said in a statement about the campaign. “She is more than a model; she is an entrepreneur, a mother and an environmentally focused individual, who embodies wellness and thoughtfulness with an incredible work ethic and effortless style.”

If you noticed Timothée Chalamet’s skin has a little extra glow this time of year, one can assume it’s because he is using the newly launched product of his dear friend and frequent collaborator, French designer Haider Ackermann.

This month, Augustinus Bader and Ackermann have joined forces to create THE LIMITED EDITIONS. The iconic collaboration celebrates the five year anniversary of Augustinus Bader's hero products with a cult-like following: The Rich Cream and The Cream. Only this time, the bottles have been transformed into limited edition, collectable chrome vessels designed by Ackermann that speak to the designer’s dedication to line, fluidity, and futuristic materials. Just in time for colder weather, the duo is available to shop now.

Anya Taylor-Joy is the star of Tiffany & Co.’s latest high jewelry campaign, Blue Book 2023: Out of the Blue, featuring pieces from the Schlumberger collection. Images shot by Craig McDean find Taylor-Joy against a simple blue backdrop, showing off artistic pieces that play on the legacy of Jean Schlumberger, reimagined by Nathalie Verdeille, the chief artistic officer of jewelry and high jewelry at Tiffany’s. Of course, the bird on the rock motif is at play in a variety of pieces, depicted in diamonds and various rarified gemstones.

Styled by Ryan Hastings, the images also feature Taylor-Joy in simple and elegant black looks—the better to show off the real stars of the show. Inspired by nature, Schlumberger’s Flowers and Leaves necklace sits on the actress’ collarbone in all its glory. “It is an honor to be the face of Tiffany & Co.’s high jewelry campaign,” Taylor-Joy said in a statement. “The house has such a long-standing history for its design and craftsmanship, and I am excited to be a part of their exceptional legacy.”

Skims

Photograph by Vanessa Beecroft; Courtesy of Skims

PR maven Samantha Jones is stepping in front of the camera for the first time as the face of Skims’s latest campaign. Celebrating the brand’s best-selling viral collections, Skims tapped Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall, along with Hari Nef, Lana Condor, Coco Jones, and Nelly Furtado, to choose their favorite pieces from the brand and style themselves.

For her image, Cattrall chose the Soft Lounge Long Sleeve Dress, which she shows off in a way only Cattrall can—while lounging on a table, her hair tousled just so. “It was so freeing to be able to pick my favorite Skims looks for the campaign,” the actress said, also praising the Sculpting Mid Thigh Bodysuit. “It’s a phenomenal fit, and it makes me feel confident whenever I wear it.”

When given the choice, Nef opted to wear the Cotton Rib Plunge Bralette and Mid Rise Brief for her shot, which finds the actress on a lounge chair, her red hair standing out against the otherwise muted colors. “All the Skims looks I styled were so comfortable and effortless,” she said. “The piece I gravitated toward the most was the Cotton Plunge Bralette, because of the flattering silhouette and soft fabric. I’m beyond obsessed.”

Gucci

Following a buzzy preview last month, formerly retired model Daria Werbowy has officially returned to the spotlight for Gucci’s latest jewelry campaign. The moment is significant for many reasons. For one, the campaign marks Sabato De Sarno’s first since being appointed creative director of Gucci earlier this year. It also acts as Werbowy’s comeback after she stepped away from modeling back in 2016.

Gucci

The images, shot by Werbowy’s old collaborator David Sims, feature the model poolside at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, wearing only black Gucci bikini bottoms and statement gold jewelry from the brand’s Marina Chain collection. Earrings rest on her knee as she curls up in one photo, a necklace hangs around her neck in the pool, and a bracelet—the design that kicked off the jewelry collection back in the late 1960s—takes center stage in a final shot.

Lafayette 148

Photograph by Jody Rogac; Courtesy of Lafayette 148

Lafayette 148 has tapped Maggie Gyllenhaal as the star of its first celebrity campaign. The choice is a fitting one, as the fall 2023 collection, titled “In the Library of Women,” celebrates female literary icons and writers, exploring both their cultural and sartorial qualities. Shot in a Brooklyn brownstone by photographer Jody Rogac, the images are inviting and warm. The actress, writer, and director poses in an oversized sweater and slacks in front of an overflowing bookshelf and gets comfortable on a shearling chair. There are shades of Joan Didion in the styling—simple and classic with a timeless quality that could place the images in a number of decades.

Of course, Lafayette 148’s tailoring is on display in the campaign, as Gyllenhaal shows off a double-breasted suit while lounging on a retro couch and sits on a rug in a matching leather set.

Lafayette 148

Gyllenhaal looks very at home in the images—and that’s because she is home (or at least within the Brooklyn neighborhood where she actually resides). It also happens to be the location of Lafayette 148’s design atelier, proving even more of a synergy between Gyllenhaal and the brand.

Lafayette 148

“I heard someone say recently, ‘Getting dressed is the first artistic expression of the day,’” Gyllenhaal says in a video for the campaign. “And I took it to heart. With Lafayette 148’s collections, there’s a combination of elegance, comfort, as well as some really wild pieces. The shearling coat has so much aplomb and goes well with the classic crisp blouses—kind of French New Wave. It’s all such a natural fit for me.”

Valentino

Young, beautiful, and punk—that’s the energy Valentino set out to evoke with its latest Black Tie campaign. Starring Kaia Gerber and shot by Steven Meisel at the Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York, the images feature Gerber lounging on a purple velvet couch or perched atop a Baroque wooden table in pieces from the brand’s fall 2023 show. The collection and campaign speak on the breaking of fashion rules, specifically, Pierpaolo Piccioli’s embrace of the black tie. What was “once a symbol of formality and masculine power,” is still elegant and influential—but of a more diverse and inclusive kind.

Valentino’s house codes are prominent within the campaign, as Gerber models a skirt of roses and boots lined with studs, shown here.

New leather goods are also on display—specifically, more additions to the Rockstud family, including one long top handle variety, and a new light pink shoulder bag.

Acne

Kylie Jenner may be touting a new “clean girl aesthetic” in her most recent Instagram posts, but for Acne’s fall 2023 denim campaign, The Kardashians star has gone for a roll in the mud. Shot in Los Angeles by Dutch photographer and director Carlijn Jacobs, the campaign sees Jenner in oversized silhouettes from the Swedish brand—including distressed and dirty washes from Acne’s new collection.

Jenner even gets a body double in the ads, as shown here.

But denim isn’t the only star of the show here: Acne’s accessories like the Multipocket Bag, shown above, are displayed front and center.

Gucci

Watch out, Jennifer Aniston: Vittoria Ceretti is coming for your teeny bikini top. In Gucci’s new fall 2023 campaign, the model—who was recently spied hanging with Leonardo DiCaprio in Santa Barbara, California—dons a glittering triangle bra top studded with the Italian house’s signature interlocking G’s.

But the bikini is far from the most exciting part of the campaign, which also stars Aboubakar Konte and Brando Erba and was photographed by David Sims. The ads mark the archival reissuing of the Gucci Horsebit Chain bag, shown here on Ceretti. The brand has updated the original accessory with a double shoulder strap, and padded leather, as seen here.

An early aughts favorite, the Horsebit Chain bag has been given a modern treatment, updated for today’s fashionistas—seen here in a fluffy shearling version. (Crystal and contrast-leather variations are also available for purchase.) “First introduced twenty years ago in Tom Ford’s fall 2003 collection, the new bag is defined by a maxi version of the iconic Horsebit, re-contextualizing the legacy hardware first conceived by Aldo Gucci in 1953 as a loafer embellishment,” the brand said.

Balmain

Balmain, meanwhile, is giving a ladylike edge to looks that wouldn’t be out of place on stage at Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour. Photographed by Rafael Pavarotti, the images feature the best of designer Olivier Rousteing’s latest collection.

Balmain

“My last runway surprised more than a few,” Rousteing said in a statement on the campaign. “Coverage of previous Balmain shows had focused on fashion-week festivals and spectacles—but for our fall 2023 Balmain women’s designs, my team and I were determined to steer clear of the fireworks. We turned the volume way down, channeling the hushed atmosphere of Pierre Balmain’s intimate post-war couture salon presentations.”

In addition to ladylike silhouettes, the fashion featured in the Balmain ads have a distinctly ’80s showman feel—perfect for the “Alien Superstar” in you.

La Ligne

Christina Ricci is bringing the laid-back energy of Los Angeles to La Ligne, a brand that’s based in New York City and whose aesthetic is steeped in classic European styles. For La Ligne’s latest fall 2023 campaign, Ricci decamped to a private beach in Malibu with photographer Nino Muñoz to shoot intimate portraits of the actress wearing the label’s latest pieces—including this luxe robe coat.

Ricci now joins a long list of La Ligne’s past campaign stars, including Selma Blair and Olivia Wilde. Here, the star matches a La Ligne split-hem pant with a Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Sevillana Pendant—a key accessory this season.

Bottega Veneta

Courtesy of Bottega Veneta

For its winter 2023 campaign, Bottega Veneta mulled the concept of “characters on the go.” According to the brand, these ads—which feature the fabulous fashions of Bottega’s fall 2023 collection—depict “Italy’s subtle and sometimes unnoticed architectural spaces as the backdrop to celebrate the design history of Bottega Veneta’s home country.” Nowhere is this concept more striking than in this image featuring supermodel Mariacarla Boscono, who is positively posing down in front of what appears to be a ticket collector’s window.

Bottega Veneta

The photographs for this campaign were shot by a variety of photographers, including Malick Bodian, Louise & Maria Thornfeldt, and Sander Muylaert. Each image matches Bottega Veneta’s “impeccably crafted archetypal wardrobe staples,” contrasted against these “architectural spaces,” says the brand.

Maje

Lila Moss—whose mother’s name, Kate, you might recognize—is ready-to-wear fashion label Maje’s newest ambassador for the fall 2023 season. To celebrate her fresh appointment, the French brand put Lila in its latest collection and photographed her all over her hometown of London—“from the bustling streets of Soho to the hip cafés of Shoreditch.”

Maje

According to Maje, the fall 2023 collection is all about “the effervescence of London and the timelessness of British style”—and the look book, released today, shows just how timeless (and timely) English staples are for the season.

Alexander McQueen

Courtesy of Alexander McQueen

For Sarah Burton’s fall 2023 Alexander McQueen campaign, the creative director looked to the idea of anatomy for inspiration. According to a statement from McQueen, that includes “Human anatomy, the anatomy of clothing, the anatomy of flowers,” Burton said. “The foundations of fashion, cut on the body and inspired by the body within.” Nowhere is this credo more apparent than in the photos shot by David Sims of campaign stars Elle Fanning (above), Naomi Campbell, French musician Yseult, and more stars.

Alexander McQueen

Campbell cuts a chic figure in a sparkling look from Alexander McQueen’s fall 2023 collection. It’s certainly in line with Burton’s vision for “the classic subverted”—a signature for the house. “Volume is neat, strict, or exploded. Garments are dissected: slashed, sliced, and twisted. Shoulders are strong. Heeled trousers elongate the leg: the bumster in reverse.”

Alexander McQueen

Yseult, meanwhile, models the brand’s new Seal bag, which launches on September 5, in a striking hue of red—of course, with a crimson leather gown to match.

Stella McCartney

Photograph by Harley Weir, Courtesy of Stella McCartney

Kendall Jenner is reconnecting with her equestrian roots for Stella McCartney’s winter 2023 campaign titled “Horse Power.” In a set of images shot by Harley Weir in the Camargue Salt Flats of France, the model poses alongside a maned friend—and in other shots, many maned friends—provided by horse whisperer Jean-Francois Pignon.

The photographs harken back to McCartney’s runway presentation for the collection, which took place at France’s oldest riding school, Manège L’École Militaire, and saw Pignon lead seven horses in the show space as the models walked nearby. The collection looks at the connections between humans and horses—something McCartney knows much about. She, like Jenner, has been riding since her youth.

Stella McCartney

Photograph by Harley Weir, Courtesy of Stella McCartney

Horses not only infiltrated the season’s runway and campaign, but also the clothes; rein-inspired rope details, reinterpreted quilted horse blankets, and an Appaloosa print could be seen throughout the collection. (The latter was a nod to the horse breed raised by the McCartneys when the designer was a child.)

“I knew this season’s Stella girl had to love horses as much as I do,” McCartney said of the choice to cast Jenner in her first campaign for the brand. “Kendall has been riding since she was a kid, just like me, and has her own ranch; you can see how at ease she is around these sensitive creatures and them with her. Capturing this connection brings Horse Power to life, both through the fashion and the vision.”

DKNY

Photograph by Dan Martensen; Courtesy of DKNY

It should come as no surprise that DKNY looked to the streets of New York City when staging their latest shoot. For the brand’s fall 2023 “DKNY For You” campaign, Amelia Gray, Christian Combs (son of Sean), and more models hit city landmarks in snapshots by Dan Martensen. The campaign explores the uniqueness of New York through the various perspectives of all who live there.

DKNY

The real star of the images is New York City, with the 1 Train careening into the station behind Gray and Combs. City staples like Union Square, the Apollo Theater, and the Strand Book Store act as backdrops as the models show off their NYC-approved looks. Represented in a tonal palette, faux leather jackets and dresses produce a hard shell, emphasized with decorations of metal. Varsity jackets sit atop simple tees while quilted coats keep the models warm. These are real clothes for real city living: going to the farmers market, the bookstore, to catch a show at a gallery, or a drink at a bar.

MCM

Photograph by Juergen Teller; Courtesy of MCM

MCM’s autumn/winter 2023 campaign brought together three collaborators from different corners of the fashion industry to display the brand’s latest Mode Travia crossbody: Fabien Baron of Baron & Baron, who lent his eye to the campaign, which links the past with the present; Juergen Teller, who shot the campaign; and the iconic face of Cindy Crawford.

The images, which show Crawford holding the new bag amid an array of MCM’s classic styles, are inspired by the brand’s 1996 campaign, shot by the late Herb Ritts and, coincidentally, also starring Crawford. “It was nostalgic for me to travel back in time with MCM from our first photoshoot in the ’90s with my dear friend, Herb Ritts,” the model said in a statement. “Their classic bags remain timeless.”

Tommy Hilfiger

Photograph by Renell Medrano; Courtesy of Tommy Hilfiger

It’s all about family in Tommy Hilfiger’s fall 2023 campaign. The designer recruited famous faces like Quincy Jones, SZA, Paloma Elsesser, Amber Valletta, and Devon and Steve Aoki to gather their kin for his latest collection. Shot by Renell Medrano, the images capture love and community, as well as the classic Americana look for which Hilfiger is known.

Elsesser enjoys a weekend in the woods with her siblings, mother, grandmother, and friend—showing off red, white, and blue knitwear, and the classic Tommy tartan on shirts, cardigans, and coats. In another photo, Valletta poses with hairstylist Teddy Charles along with the model’s son, Auden, and Charles’s two children, Raphaël and Talulah. The group shows off a more low-key look, made up of lightweight layers and timeless silhouettes.

Tommy Hilfiger

Photograph by Renell Medrano; Courtesy of Tommy Hilfiger

The collection is also inspired by some of Hilfiger’s ’90s designs, like the brand’s original puffers and overalls. It’s a fitting time to return to the pieces popularized by hip-hop icons as the genre celebrates its 50th anniversary. In her campaign images, Sza poses with her niece, Savannah Rowe, in jean-forward looks reminiscent of those popularized by Aaliyah and TLC in the ’90s. Rowe leans on her Grammy-winning aunt in a simple tank and light-wash jeans, her Tommy Hilfiger briefs poking out above the waistline.

“This campaign is an all-out celebration of our brand values of belonging and inclusivity with a focus on family,” Hilfiger said in a statement. “ We’ve brought together a cast of uniquely talented friends and family whose deep bonds and unwavering support of one another reminds me of the powerful relationships I have with my loved ones.”

Thom Browne

Photograph by Emma Louise Swanson; Courtesy of Thom Browne

Thom Browne headed to Montauk for a Moby Dick-inspired campaign to show off the brand’s fall 2023 collection. Set where “the land meets the sea,” against the backdrop of a lighthouse, the photos evoke The Banshees of Inisherin with an American twist. The models are wrapped in varietals of gray check, with a coat atop a suit, finished off by a scarf wrapped around a head of bleach blond hair. Classic Thom Browne whimsy comes in the form of a whale-shaped head piece, which adds some lightness to a tailored look.

Thom Browne

Double-faced melton outerwear and wool flannel down overcoats keep the models warm from the ocean breeze while color-blocked sweats add a bit of ease to the images captured by Emma Louise Swanson. Of course, the Hector bag is along for the ride as well—this time in his checked form, joined by a pebble-grain whale baguette, and new vachettta leather versions of the Mr. Thom bag and Mrs. Thom mini baguette.

Calvin Klein

Courtesy of Calvin Klein

Blackpink musician Jennie may have been named a Calvin Klein ambassador a mere three months ago, but she’s already made serious waves in the two campaigns that have come out since. Case in point: the latest fall 2023 ads from the brand, which show the K-pop super star in CK intimates—of course, with a white collared shirt slung on top.

The photographs, snapped by Inez and Vinoodh, show Jennie in lacy lingerie—grounded by a pair of comfy black socks.

For its fall 2023 campaign, Ferragamo brought Renaissance paintings into 2023. Starring Mona Tougaard, Jessica Stam, Anok Yai, and many more, photographer Tyler Mitchell turned his lens toward the models with an artistic twist.

Kelela, who also stars in the campaign, poses in front of a painting courtesy of Le Gallerie degli Uffizi.

“Members of the new Ferragamo extended community are imagined as timeless protagonists of masterpiece paintings from the Italian Renaissance, while a parallel series of images provide insight into the process: Renaissance a symbol of rebirth, an in-the-making collective effort,” the brand said.

Marc Jacobs

Kim Kardashian is the latest celebrity to get the Marc Jacobs treatment, following in the footsteps of recent stars like Kate Moss, Ice Spice, and Paris Hilton as the face of the brand’s fall 2023 campaign.

In photographs by Tyrone Lebon, Kardashian shows off some Marc Jacobs staples in the form of the Kiki boot and the Tote Bag while posing in front of an inflatable set from Los Angeles-based creative studio, Playlab.

In one photo, the Skims entrepreneur leans against a blown-up version of the famed Kiki boot, while donning a black polka-dot jacket and matching skirt. In another, she lounges among metallic, letter-shaped balloons—this time wearing the boots, as well as a black corset, nylon skirt, and polka-dot accessories.

The campaign is not just about Marc Jacobs’s best sellers, but also some new additions in the form of fall 2023 ready-to-wear and accessories. Polka dots and oversized silhouettes reign supreme, as do two new bags—the Sack Bag and the Curve bag—modeled by Kardashian in the shots.

Victoria’s Secret

Photograph by Mikael Jansson; Courtesy of Victoria's Secret

Victoria’s Secret is prepping for the return of their revamped fashion show, kicking off the celebration with the debut of The Icon Collection. To promote the campaign, Victoria’s Secret tapped some of their favorite faces from fashion shows past like Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima, and Candice Swanepoel while also bringing some new names into the VS fold including Adut Akech, Hailey Bieber, Paloma Elsesser, and Emily Ratajkowski.

Victoria’s Secret

The campaign, shot by photographer Mikael Jansson in both black and white and color, is simple and strong, focusing on the individual power of each model as they serve face directly to camera.

On display is Victoria’s Secret’s new Icon Collection, comprised of panties, lingerie, and bras, including the new Push-Up Demi Bra. The line is designed to enhance the wearer’s natural shape. “It’s an exciting, elevated collection to add to your wardrobe, while reinforcing that we are all icons,” said Janie Schaffer, Victoria’s Secret’s chief design officer.

Self-Portrait

Gigi Hadid embraces nature in Self-Portrait’s latest campaign for their autumn/winter 2023 collection. In a set of photos taken by British photographer Tyrone Lebon, the model is seen in a Paris apartment, modeling two looks from the collection alongside a cluster of butterflies fluttering through the space.

“Gigi represents everything the modern Self-Portrait woman stands for, she’s worldly, free-spirited, and joyful,” said Han Chong, the brand’s founder and creative director, in a statement. “It felt only right that after working with Gigi in New York and London that we join her in Paris for our latest campaign shoot against a backdrop renowned for elegance and romance.”

In one shot, the model leans against a wall in a gold sequin crop top and matching gathered mini skirt; Hadid interacts with a butterfly while wearing a white bouclé set in another. The backdrop is simple, yet still inherently Parisian, adding to the romance of the images.

Tiffany & Co.

Florence Pugh has been announced as the newest Tiffany & Co. house ambassador, taking her place alongside Rosé, Jimin, and Lebanese singer Nancy Arjam. In a new campaign celebrating the expansion of the brand’s Lock collection, the foursome poses in portraits, displaying the collection’s array of pendants, rings, earrings, and bracelets in various colorways.

The lock design has been a part of the brand since 1883. A symbol of love and unbreakable bonds, the new iterations “celebrate the personal connections that we share and the infinite power of love,” according to a statement from Tiffany & Co.

The ambassadors show off the versatility of the collection, with Pugh displaying various rings and bracelets in 18 karat white, yellow, and rose gold while Jimin flashes some of the necklace options. The campaign also features the latest addition to the collection: a new lock bracelet in 18 karat white gold with half pavé diamonds and half baguette diamonds. All of these pieces are now available in Tiffany & Co. stores as well as online at Tiffany.com.

Celine Homme

Levon Hawke is the latest addition to Celine’s “Portrait of” series. In new photos shot by Hedi Slimane and titled “Portrait of an Actor,” the son of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman wanders the streets of New York City. The simple yet powerful black-and-white imagery depicts Hawke lying on a roof, strumming a guitar, and bundling up in a jean jacket. The clothing consists of all the classics—a pair of jeans, a white tank top, a pinstripe suit.

Slimane has been photographing many different actors, musicians, and models for this series—including, most recently, Bob Dylan and Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. Hawke, who is set to star in Zoë Kravitz’s upcoming directorial debut, Pussy Island, can now count himself among these Slimane-tapped stars.

Carolina Herrera

Photograph by Brigitte Lacombe; Courtesy of Carolina Herrera

When it came to showing off their iconic bags, Carolina Herrera could only look toward an equally iconic face. For their latest campaign, the house tapped Christy Turlington to show off the craftsmanship created in their Spanish atelier. In a set a photos taken by Brigitte Lacombe that were inspired by ancient Spanish art of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the collaboration between Turlington and Carolina Herrera “conveys the concept of timelessness and impeccable skill that defines each piece created by the house,” according to a press release.

Lacombe’s images are set in a studio, against an off-white backdrop, decorated with nothing but pieces of beautiful, hand-carved furniture. Turlington sits in a denim dress while delicately holding onto a top handle bag, or resting a clutch on her barely made-up face. The campaign centers on timeless beauty, embracing the excellence of the classics.

Dion Lee

All eyes may currently be on Madonna for the 40th anniversary of the singer’s self-titled album, but Dion Lee is focused on the next generation. The fashion brand tapped the singer’s daughter, Lola Leon, to star in the campaign for their Cage Chain Link collection, a capsule comprised of handbags, jewelry, and ready-to-wear covered in Italian-made chains.

In photos shot by Carlota Guerrero, the model and artist swings from a leather seat, hung up by silver chains while crying tears made of the campaign’s titular material. Other shots show Leon in a bikini made of the collection’s bags—and one of the 26-year-old getting in on some creative work herself: sitting naked at a desk, chains decorating her workspace.

Omar Apollo and Jamie Dornan star in the Loewe fall/winter 2023 men’s campaign, which pays homage to old masters, as well as the artist Julien Nguyen, who inspired Jonathan Anderson’s collection.

Apollo and Dornan are both the artists and the subjects in the ads, posing in front of plastic sheets that blur the background, leaving the focus on the stars and their clothing. Shot by David Sims, the images emphasize Loewe’s “reductionist spirit” by showing off some of the more traditional pieces within the collection. Dornan lounges in all-black, displaying a suede puzzle tote. Apollo sits in branded long underwear and kneels in a purple cardigan. Texture is at the forefront of the campaign—with the denim, wool, and satin almost jumping off the models’ bodies and out of the screen.

Following the explosion of color that was Versace’s pre-fall La Vacanza collection in collaboration with Dua Lipa, the brand is toning it down a tad for their fall/winter 2023 campaign shot by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. Starring Gigi Hadid, Karolina Spakowski, Angelina Kendall, and Anok Yai, the black and white images set against a stark, blank background leave all the attention on the clothes. While Donatella’s fall/winter 2023 collection did feature pieces in Barbie pink and bright florals, the campaign focuses on the black suits and tailored dresses, emphasizing silhouette.

“This campaign celebrates everything I love about Versace: The power, the tailoring, the attitude,” Donatella Versace said in a statement. “I love the black and white images that really showcase the iconic silhouette of the season.”

Balenciaga

Following her runway debut at the couture show in July, Isabelle Huppert has returned to front yet another Balenciaga campaign. The actress stars alongside models Vittoria Ceretti, Minttu Vesala, Arthur del Beato, and more in images set at Balenciaga’s birthplace within 10-12 avenue George V in Paris.

The location is especially significant as it is currently under construction, soon to be reestablished as Balenciaga’s headquarters. For now, the setting made for the perfect backdrop for the brand’s winter 2023 campaign, providing a contrast between the clothing and the surrounding construction, allowing for “an ironic point of comparison.”

Shot by Tyler Mitchell, the campaign shows off some of Demna’s signatures, like the printed, pleated skirt and blouse on Hubert, as well as oversized proportions, rounded shoulders, and cinched waists. The images also introduce some new accessories, including the Monaco bag line, new boot styles, and some covetable eyewear.

The stars of Miu Miu’s fall/winter 2023 show returned to their embellished bloomers and tousled their hair just-so for the collection’s campaign. Shot by Zoë Ghertner, the photos display Ethel Cain, Emma Corrin, Mia Goth, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Zaya Wade, and more who walked the presentation last March as they re-embrace the character tropes Miuccia Prada initially introduced during the collection’s debut. Goth, Corrin, and Gray play the bookish good girls, while Cain and Wade show a little more power and attitude with their textured coat sets.

The setting of a tonal gray background places these characters in an abyss, allowing their stories to remain ever-changing. Is Goth a simple, sweet secretary, or an Eve Harrington figure looking to undermine the boss and nab his job? More likely, both, or at least somewhere in between. With this collection, Prada has created a world where the characters inhabit many personas in one shot.

Gossamer sheer skirts contrast against thick, leather coats. Turtlenecks are paired with extravagant panties. There is no in between these extremes, nothing to bridge the gap. The styling too, is a little off—the glasses are slightly askew, the hair a bit a mess. Still, everything somehow comes together to create a clear picture of the Miu Miu woman.

Cartier

BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) has been named as the latest Cartier ambassador, starting off his tenure with the brand by fronting the newest Panthère de Cartier campaign. The image is simple—a closeup of V in a blood red blazer, showing off a sculptural ring and panther-shaped necklace. V stares down the viewer like a predator stares down his prey, proving himself to be the perfect choice to don Cartier’s iconic Panthére pieces.

“When it came to embodying the magnetism and aura of the panther, our choice naturally fell on V,” said Arnaud Carrez, Cartier’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “He has the look and strength of character. A personality whose choices are guided by creativity as a dancer, musician or art lover, with this style and this elegance that belong only to him.”

It’s fitting that one of the main purveyors of quiet luxury is fully embracing the movement for its fall/winter 2023 campaign. This isn’t Succession cosplay, but rather a reminder of why Loro Piana has long been a go-to for the inconspicuous elite, with a set of images, captured by Glen Luchford, that explore the idea of “precious garments made for precious memories.”

Models Selena Forrest, Henry Kitcher, Awar Odhiang and Raquel Zimmermann star in the campaign, which emphasizes intimate moments, hence the familiar bedroom setting. The clothes in the shots are simple—a knit cardigan, ribbed sweater—with the exception of a printed housecoat, which stands out against a velvet bedspread.

It’s all about simple elegance, an effect Loro Piana mastered long ago. The setting of a sparsely decorated house evokes that feeling of comfort, while providing an emphasis on the clothes instead of the background. It’s not about the garments, but the lives we embrace while in them—the enhancement that comes when you’re comfortable, and wrapped in luxury fabrics.

Burberry

The British Isles act as the setting for Burberry’s winter 2023 campaign, shot by brand favorite Tyrone Lebon on the Isle of Skye in Scotland and Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. Models bundle up in cozy blankets, argyle sweaters, and trench coats, protecting themselves against the breeze coming off the sea. Daniel Lee’s debut collection for the British brand is on display, and the bright check patterns provide a brilliant contrast to the muted backdrop.

The inherently British collection pays homage to Burberry’s past, while simultaneously shepherding it into the future. The brand’s newly designed Equestrian Knight logo (originated in 1901) is front and center in the campaign, as is the new Burberry house color—knight blue—seen in the form of blankets and jackets throughout the images.

Fendi

Fendi’s autumn/winter 2023 collection drew on none other than Delfina Delettrez Fendi, jewelry designer and great granddaughter to the house’s founders. Kim Jones was inspired by Delettrez Fendi, and her own styling of archival Fendi pieces. “It all started with Delfina,” Jones said in the show notes. “There’s a chicness but a perversity to the way she twists Fendi, which is what I love.”

The exploration and simultaneous rejection of gendered archetypes come into play as the utilitarian meets the feminine. The collection’s campaign, shot by Craig McDean, depicts this dichotomy—pairing lace-up leather boots, with soft blue sweaters. It also introduces the latest in Fendi’s accessory line, the Origami bag, which displays duality with its multi-use design, a trait Silvia Venturini Fendi calls “very Fendi.”

Prada

Benedict Cumberbatch and Hunter Schafer were joined by fellow world-renowned actors Kodi Smit-McPhee, Letitia Wright, and Li Xian to star in Prada’s fall 2023 campaign for the brand’s men’s and women’s collections. Beauty, care, and love were the values that inspired both the collection and campaign, principles epitomized by the tenderness of flowers. Each shot by Willy Vanderperre shows one of the campaign stars facing off against a respective life-sized flower while dressed in looks from the brand’s fall collection.

“Flowers themselves are ageless symbols of a beauty between the everyday and the extraordinary,” Prada said in a statement. They also represent dichotomy—“both fragile and strong, precious and quotidian, ephemeral yet eternal, each one unique.”

The choice of campaign stars was well thought out as well, depicting Prada’s longtime relationship with the world of cinema, as well as an actor’s ability to conjure up emotions such as tenderness and affection, which inspired the collection. “These figures’ mastery of their own craft enables them to evoke these feelings in both still and motion image—through words, action, even a glance,” the brand said.
