Eyewear options are not only essential during the spring and summer months, but also endless. So much so that it can often be overwhelming to try and find a perfect pair that fits both your frame and your style. But each season, a new brand emerges as a favorite of celebrities and social media influencers alike.

This year, that brand appears to be Raen, a handmade sunglasses and eyewear company base in Southern California with fans ranging from Emily Ratajkowski to Wiz Khalifa. They’ve got so many influencers on their roster, that they’ve created an entirely separate “As seen on” Instagram account, which features Rihanna, the vlogger-turned-model Amanda Steele, and actress slash activist Yara Shahidi.

Colored lenses are all the rage right now in terms of eyewear, but Raen is setting its sights on other vintage rock ‘n’ roll trends. The brand’s inspirations this season include Jackie O, Twiggy, and Kurt Cobain, and the results are thick white shades that musicians and models can’t get enough of—especially as music festival season kicks off.

“Women still love an oversized frame with a hit of color or a fun, thick frame, and men are still loving the streamlined update of the classic ’50s and ’60s styles,” said Justin Heit, the brand’s co-founder and creative director. “We’ve updated the vintage styles with creative new acetates, mirrored and colored lenses, and more functional fits.” He’s also tapped the professional surfer Alex Knost to help spread those California vibes worldwide.

If you’re unsure how to style the look, Instagram, per usual, provides endless inspiration.
