Who: Lena Dunham.

When: Tuesday, July 26.

Where: The Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

What: A white, off-the-shoulders sheath by Gabriela Hearst with Paul Andrew shoes.

Why: “According to Donald Trump, my body is probably, like, a 2,” the Girls creator and noted Hillary stan opened her remarks at the DNC with a joke. But in Gabriela Hearst, if we have to give rankings, Dunham is far from a 2. She opted for a gorgeous silhouette — by an up-and-coming US-based designer — that blends a classic silhouette with an on-trend off-the-shoulders design. Plus, she color- (or monochrome-) coordinates with co-presenter America Ferrera. Subtle details like the front slit, half-length sleeves, and tiny D-rings at her waist elevate the look, and edgy sandals by Paul Andrew top it all off.
