The nude pregnancy photo has long been making a statement on magazine covers and online publications alike, but now celebrities and models are taking their image into their own hands—on Instagram, naturally.
Today, Beyonce revealed that she and Jay Z are expecting a second child on Instagram. “We would like to share our love and happiness,” the caption reads. “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters”
The singer is photographed in front of a large display of flowers, wearing fairly accessible lingerie and a makeshift veil.
In August 2015, Kim Kardashian attempted to break the Internet once again with a nude, #NoFilter selfie, captioned with: “I’m grateful to God for this miracle & no matter what rumors or comments you throw my way this time they truly don’t affect me!” The post has just under 2 million “likes.”
