Edie Campbell Hasn’t Met Anyone Fun on a Juice Cleanse
The 25-year-old British beauty and long-time W girl took to the streets of Rome to show off fall’s most cutting-edge couture. Here, she shares her mom’s best advice, her Saint Laurent obsession and her aversion to juice cleanses.
Your look in three words: Not quite enough.
Five-minute routine: Brush teeth. Curl eyelashes. Marc Jacobs Brow Tamer Grooming Gel. Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll Mascara. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
Never leave the house without: Vaseline. Yves Saint Laurent Mascara.
Beauty from the inside out: Have fun. Fun people are the most alluring.
Exercise regime: Dolly, my horse, is quite a hard taskmaster. Also, swimming and boxing at All Stars Gym in London.
Cleanse or not: Too time consuming, and exhausting. I’ve never met anyone fun doing a juice cleanse.
Beauty essentials: Canesten duo. (Jokes.) I actually mean Philip Kingsley Elasticizer and a Korean sheet mask for when life has all got too much.
In-tub must-read: At the, moment Ghana Must Go by Taiye Selasi.
Fragrance of choice: Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium, obvs.
Best advice from mom: Just get on with it. In terms of beauty advice, “Who’s looking at you anyway???”
Best advice from the pros: Curl your eyelashes.
Parting words: There’s more to life than what you look like on the outside, but I guess first impressions count.
