Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay Take Tokyo
A mixed-media ensemble, fresh off Rodarte’s runway, for the Tokyo premiere of Room.

What: A paneled, lace-embellished Rodarte Fall 2016 dress with Roger Vivier heels.
Why: Towards the beginning of the week, Larson selected a few excellent looks to debut her Oscar-winning performance for Japanese audiences (she also chose a cap-sleeved Valentino look for a later appearance). This, fresh from Rodarte’s runway, combines delicate details like the lace-embellished shoulders with a hard edge evidenced in the textured, tactile panels for which the label is well known. Still, it would be nothing without her partner in crime and film, nine-year-old Jacob Tremblay, still continuing his tour of adorableness.
