Bella Hadid and The Weeknd Appear to Have Attended Kylie Jenner’s Birthday Party Together
At this point, it is a truth universally acknowledged that Bella Hadid and The Weeknd are hanging out once again. But it wasn’t until Thursday night that the pair hit a pretty major milestone in their on-again relationship: taking each another as plus-ones to various star-studded events. That’s exactly what happened this week, when Hadid and The Weeknd (né Abel Tesfaye) arrived together for Kylie Jenner‘s 21st birthday celebration, which included dinner at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood followed by a party at nearby nightclub Delilah.
As seen in photos published by Elle, paparazzi caught Hadid and Tesfaye walking into the party together. The supermodel wore a halter-neck black vest that was held together in the front by just one clasp and that she paired with flared black pants, oversize gold jewelry, and shiny black combat boots. Her musician beau coordinated in similar black combat boots and black pants, but showed a lot less skin in his black T-shirt and black zip-up jacket.
Once inside, the duo never seemed far apart from each other. They hopped into the party’s photo booth multiple times, once with Kendall Jenner, Winnie Harlow, and DJs Simi and Haze Khadra, as documented on the Khadras’s Instagram Story, and another time with DJ Duffey, who posted the official photo-booth shots on her Instagram page. Even when Hadid hopped back in the booth for a quick shoot with Jenner, Tesfaye stayed close-by, not-so-surreptitiously filming their poses on his own IG Story.
Though Hadid and Tesfaye have been chased across the globe all summer long by rumors that they’d reignited their romance, it wasn’t until very recently that they finally began to (very quietly) confirm their back-on status by including shots of each other in their social media posts as if it were no big deal. At the end of July, for example, Tesfaye made a few brief cameos on both Hadid’s and mom Yolanda’s Instagram Stories, implying that he had joined Hadid on a visit to Yolanda’s Pennsylvania farm. And just this past weekend, Tesfaye and Hadid included shots of each other in their individual documentation of The Weeknd’s performance at Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival. If summer 2018 has taught us anything, we should probably be expecting an engagement any day now.
