At FIAC Art Fair in Paris, Instagrammers Are Dining Out on the Popcorn Art

Wandering the endless booths that make up an art fair is sure to stimulate any appetite, and especially so when there’s more than a few helpings of food art. Leading the culinary charge at this year’s Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain, or FIAC, is the L.A.-based artist Pae White, whose confections, titled “Companion,” are up in Kaufmann Repetto’s booth at the Grand Palais in Paris until Sunday. Her dozens of giant gold and white popcorn might be made of porcelain, but that hasn’t made viewers any less hungry to post them on Instagram.
