It may be an Italian fashion house, but Valentino’s spring 2017 menswear show – part of Paris Men’s Fashion Week – was all about Americana. Camouflage prints were abundant, as was denim workwear, varsity jackets and bald eagle motifs. Photographers Vali Barbulescu and Portia Hunt took in the scene backstage, including the floppy-haired, boyish models without shirts. And what’s more American than that?
