Since it was installed, Ugo Rondinone’s “Miami Mountain” has become one of the most recognizable sights in Miami Beach, a 41-foot, Day-Glo monolith that’s primed for maximum Instagram impact. On Wednesday, the Bass Museum, which counts the piece in its permanent collection, threw a dinner at Mr. Chow with W and Phillips to honor the Swiss artist and his Technicolor dream sculpture, which is located just across the street at Collins Park, where it’s become one of the most popular selfie destinations during Art Basel Miami Beach.
