New York Fashion Week Men’s: 3 Must-Know New Labels
New York Fashion Week Men’s is a far cry from the luxe and dramatic European shows, but if nothing else, the modest showings at Skylight Clarkson offer a diverse range of, well, dudes. Three new names on the lineup this season were Linder, designed by Sam Linder and Kirk Millar — who brought some much-needed sexuality to the week; Second/Layer, the California surf/skate line designed by Joshua Willis and Anthony Franco; and finally, Landlord, a new military uniform-inspired brand designed by Ryohei Kawanishi, Daniel Huang, and Naoki Masuda. In anticipation of Men’s Fashion Week, W shot exclusive images of their Spring 2017 collections.
