Madonna and Kylie Jenner’s Selfies and More of the Best Met Gala 2017 Instagrams
The annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala brings together culture’s most fashionable models, designers, actors, musicians, socialites, and even athletes. Meaning that if you somehow missed the resulting series of selfies, memes, and party pictures on social media, chances are you were living under a rock (or purposefully missing all the noise). This year’s theme was “Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garcons,” but most guests still dressed—and did—whatever they wanted. For example, photos inside the Met Gala are strictly prohibited, yet selfie queen Kylie Jenner took a bathroom mirror selfie with 15 people, including sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky, Diddy, Brie Larson, and even the camera-shy Frank Ocean. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj fangirl-ed with celebrities outside on the red carpet like the Olsen twins and Blake Lively, while Lil Yachty couldn’t help but ask Rihanna for a pic during dinner.
