Kanye and Kim Kardashian West Officially Declared “Icons”
On Friday night, Carine Roitfeld threw her annual “Icons” party with a flashy black tie event at The Plaza Hotel. There were plenty of definitions of the much-debated word being thrown around – “someone who takes risks,” according to Nina Agdal, and “someone who is respected and world-renowned,” said Tyson Beckford. But judging by the evening’s stars, Kanye and Kim Kardashian West, today’s icons are born on social media. And West continued to dominate the fashion week Instagram feed, performing “Runaway” with his middle finger raised high, just in case you were wondering exactly how he felt about all the Yeezy Season 4 backlash.
