EYE CANDY

Inside Photographer Harley Weir’s First-Ever Solo Exhibition, Featuring Her Collabs with Frank Ocean

by Steph Eckardt

Since getting discovered through Tumblr in her teens, Harley Weir has gone on to shoot campaigns for the likes of Proenza Schouler, Maison Martin Margiela, and Calvin Klein—all of which she’s squeezed in between trips to Jordan, Israel, Senegal, and India for more traditional reportage work. The honesty of her images caught the eye of one Frank Ocean, who tapped her for Boys Don’t Cry, the companion print magazine to his album Blonde, which is now part of “Boundaries,” the 28-year-old British photographer’s first-ever solo show. Take a look inside the exhibition, up until February at the Foam Museum in Amsterdam.
