Frieze New York 2016: All the Art That Would Be Fashion

by Steph Eckardt

Frieze New York 2016

Fashion isn’t all about the street style on Randall’s Island at Frieze New York this week. In the booths, style inspiration can be found in the art itself, from the miniature Italian costumes on Jos de Gruyter and Harald Thys’ army of puppets to the gray spacesuits on the “employees” at the promotional Soylent booth. But, at the end of the day, it’s no contest who is the fairest of them all.
